fantastic stay!

big roomperfect locationoutdated room
i had a big room. everything was clean and quiet. the location was perfect for accessing essentials and getting around. i found it to be a well run place with great value, particularly during the off season.
the room smelled of smoke, it was outdated. the airconditioning unit was duct taped, rooms was like from the 90s with old furniture. i was hoping to enjoy it more considering the hotel's price.
Facilities

the pool and hot tub were clean and decent. robes were provided in the rooms. the hotel provides a free shuttle service to capilano bridge stopping just outside the hotel entrance, a lovely convenience.

the location was convenient (right in the city center).
the room was quite outdated. the air conditioning unit looked old and was held together with tape. i heard every noise from the hallway because the doors were not soundproof.

Acceptable Stay, Needs Improvement

loud air conditioningunfriendly staff
My stay wasn't awful, but some things really bothered me. The air conditioning unit was terribly loud. It made sleeping difficult. the staff at the front desk seemed efficient. they weren't particularly friendly or cute at any point . I wished for a warmer reception.
